Eurovision, a Right-Wing nutter’s wet dream, and this time, what appear to be some sort of horrific ‘pseudo-left wingers’. Skin crawls. Eurovision signals the release of plenty of ammunition to use to fuel the big little-england burners, sending them burning at full force everytime this year.

I’ve a bit of a soft spot for Eurovision, its tacky and lame, but its funny, and it never seems to take itself too seriously. At least, Graham Norton doesn’t seem to take it too seriously. To call it it’s importance as high as ‘national pride’ is not only silly, but worrying too. Are we really that self-conscious and petty as a nation, that we worry about every tiny thing that has our flag next to it? Are you telling me that ‘Scooch’ represent the national spirit? Or that Daz Sampson is the pride of the UK? I didn’t think so, now shut up.

Basically, its a video of a very angry and (without trying to sound like Gordon Brown) bigoted women that wen’t viral last year. Quickly followed by the ‘free-speech warriors’ that are the BNP, right there, by her side, defending her ‘natural right’ to be complete racist arsehole!

You can hear them now, can’t you… “What a tragic society we live in! Where people aren’t allowed to broadcast their blatant hatred of others! It makes ones British bones of ‘my British country’ shiver! Back in my day, decent white folk could say what they wanted! Fancy keeping her in JAIL at Christmas time! Bloody EU-Gypsie-Homos!!!”. Good lord…

Mind you, if I was a member of her family I’d like her as far away as possible at anytime of the year, let alone Christmas! All the while, the wishful thought of a prison guard allowing the use of the neatly wrapped muzzle under the tree I’d left for her. Hoping that maybe, if she was good, they would let her open it on Christmas eve! Oh for that extra days silence, wouldn’t it be heavenly?

A couple of things arise from the video. One, how disgusted I am that she would vent these deep prejudices in front of her young child, surely she doesn’t want the young boy growing up with the handicap of small minded racism like she has done. Also, how very happy I am with the fact that this has been taken seriously as a crime, not only by the police, but by the people on the tram, who universally rejected these comments. Well done!

As for the closing line of the first paragraph shown in the image (the whole thing can be found by clicking the image), im fairly sure that he’s in a dream world and that no such statement could be even remotely true. If it is true however, then I’ve really had enough with this nation, and the BNP will have forced my prompt emigration to Denmark. Tak og farvel!
